Reflections on our leaders’ meeting

I met with the leaders of each of our ministry teams this past weekend in a long, full-day meeting on the status and future of our church. I’d have to say that it was probably one of the best meetings I’d ever been a part of.

We met together to pray and discuss how we are going to help keep our church healthy for a long time while fulfilling our God-given mission to help people grow in Christ. For 7 1/2 hours, nine of us did this together.

We considered our past – how far God has brought us. zaklady bukmacherskie polska We looked toward the future – where we believe God wants to lead us.

We laughed…a lot.

We learned together, worked together, and learned to work together. We were able to speak boldly (and maybe a little brashly once or twice) on things that we are passionate about.

I love the fact that people could strongly agree on one matter and then just as strongly disagree on the next. That’s a sign of a healthy team. Not one of them is just along for the ride. gra automaty online

These are the people I consider my staff. I can’t pay them a dime, but they spent their day discussing how to advance God’s kingdom through Oak Tree Community Church.

I’m proud of you all – Ben, Pete, Adam, Katie, Saralynn, Gary, Rhonda, and Ben.

Thank you for your hard work. I couldn’t do my part without you at my side. kasyno online automaty na prawdziwe pieniądze I can’t wait to see how God works in and through us next year because of your dedication!

  1. Are there minutes to the meeting that tells what was discussed or decided? I am on the edge of my seat waiting to know what is next…:)

I’m working on a summary for the team to make sure we have everything down right, then I’ll do a post on some of the concrete things we talked about. A lot of it was conceptual and behind-the-scenes.
