Proverbs 20

Trying to finish Proverbs this week – I’m a little behind. outbreak after ivermectin Only a few things really jumped out at me from chapter 20.

Many people profess their loyalty, but a faithful person – who can find? can your animals get overdosed on ivermectin (20:6)

Everyone wishes their friends were loyal to them and assumes that they are. That’s what makes betrayal – or even perceived betrayal – so horrible.

God has built into us a desire for faithful friends – whether it’s church members, close friends, a spouse, or even social media (Facebook and Twitter friends). If we feel that bad when they are unfaithful to us, how must God feel when we step away from him?

An inheritance gained easily in the beginning will not be blessed in the end. how often to take ivermectin paste (20:21)

This is much of the problem that has caused our national financial turmoil. Easy credit given to anyone to buy anything seems like a good deal on the front end. But the result is pain, foreclosure, and a lot of brokenness. If something is worth having, it’s worth saving for.

Beatings and wounds cleanse away evil, and floggings cleanse the innermost being. (20:30)

My brother-in-law has a t-shirt that reads: “The beatings will continue until the morale improves.” Apparently, it’s biblical.
